For concealed frame glass curtain walls, aluminum veneer curtain walls, or stone curtain walls, weather resistant sealant should be applied between adjacent panels. To avoid repeated calculations, the amount of weather resistant sealant is usually calculated based on only two side lengths (length and width).

Sealant for exposed frame curtain walls is applied at the right angle joint between the glass and the aluminum outer frame, and sealant needs to be applied to the four edges of each glass plate;

The calculation of the amount of sealant used for doors and windows can refer to this method, but the difference is that the cross-section of the sealant used for doors and windows is often triangular. It is worth noting that if both the inside and outside of the plate are filled with glue, then the dosage needs to be calculated for both the inside and outside;

Estimation of Door and Window Meters

In general, according to the 5mm diameter of the adhesive, a 300ml support adhesive can be applied for about 8-10 meters; 500ml of soft packaging can be packed for around 13-15 meters; 590ml of soft packaging can reach around 16-18 meters. The required amount of adhesive can be estimated based on this length.
